Craft-Coat is one-component linseed oil modified waterborne urethane. Craft-Coat self cross-links when exposed to oxygen to develop an extremely durable film that exhibits outstanding scuff, mar, and impact resistance. It has the depth and gloss of an oil modified urethane (O.M.U.) and shows excellent adhesion even on dense or oily hardwoods . . . especially exotics. Craft-Coat produces very little odor and dries to the touch in approximately 20 minutes and can be sanded / recoated within 1 to 2 hours. If wiped on while turning, several coats can be applied less than a minute apart.

Surface Prep: For best results make sure that all surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, wax, grease, oil, and polishes. If surfaces already have an existing coating on them make sure that the surface is scuffed and all loose and damaged coating is removed. For surfaces with a wax and lacquer finish makes sure you use a stripper before applying. Make sure all surfaces are sanded and smooth before applying.

Application: Craft-Coat can be applied using several different techniques. It can be wiped on, brushed on, sprayed on, or dipped. Stir thoroughly before use. If brushing or spraying finish, allow each coat to dry a minimum of 1 to 2 hours before lightly sanding and applying a recoat. Wiping on finish while turning (friction polishing) requires only 30-45 seconds drying time between coats. Please note that lower temperatures and/or higher humidity may cause slower dry times. Re-coat only when previous coats have dried and feel hard. Allow 24 hours before normal use.

Clean-Up: Clean brushes, rags, and containers using soapy water.

Storage and Disposal: Do not freeze. Keep container closed when not in use. Do not transfer contents to other containers for storage or disposal. In case of spillage, absorb with materials such as sand, oil absorbency materials or kitty litter. Dispose containers and unused contents in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.

Precautions: Avoid breathing vapors or spray mist you should ensure that you have access to fresh air during application and drying. If you experience eye watering, headaches or dizziness, increase fresh air or wear respiratory protection (NIOSH / MSHA TC 23 C chemical cartridge respirator or equivalent) or leave the
area. Close container after each use. AVOID contact with eyes and skin. DO NOT take internally. DO NOT incinerate closed containers as they may explode when exposed to extreme heat or fire. IMPORTANT! All application equipment must be operated with strict accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Wear eye protection at all times.

First Aid: In case of skin contact wash off quickly with plenty of water, then soap and water. For eye contact, flush IMMEDIATELY with large amounts of water, especially under lids, for at least 15 min. If swallowed, OBATIAN MEDICAL TREATMENT IMMEDIATELY. If discomfort persists or any breathing difficulty occurs GET MEDICAL HELP IMMEDIATELY. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. FOR EMERGENCY INFORMATION CALL 855-418-4326.
