With a seating capacity of 53,394, making it the seventh largest football stadium in England, Anfield has been the home of Liverpool F.C. since their formation in 1892. It was originally the home of Everton F.C. from 1884 to 1891, before they moved to Goodison Park after a dispute with the club president.
The stadium has four stands: the Spion Kop, the Main Stand, the Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand and the Anfield Road End. This seat was removed from the Main Stand.
The stadium is named after the surrounding area, Anfield. The word originated in the combination of Old and Middle English words, which mean "a field on a slope". Anfield, and its deviations, has been associated with the area since at the least 1642.

I received the blank as expected, and turned it into a pen as a gift for a devoted Liverpool fan. He nearly cried with joy, couldn't believe that he had an authentic piece of Liverpool history on his desk. Great concept. No idea what the mystery wood was; slightly brittle, but it turned just fine and had an interesting grain pattern (it wasn't plywood like some of the stadium seat blanks I've seen).
These are great for unique gifts. Highly recommend the blanks from Stadium Pen Blanks!

The blank was just what I wanted. I already made a soccer themed pen out of the blank. I gave the pen to my grandson as a gift. He absolutely loved it. And the best part is the blank comes with a certificate of authenticity. I have made several pens using Stadium Pen Blanks and they always turn out great. Will be buying more in the near future.
