Celebrate America’s Semiquincentennial with our exclusive Pre-Tubed "Barrel-Stave-Style" Wood Pen Blanks. These special edition blanks feature a unique style of pen blank where "staves" are wrapped around a pen tubed and encased in black resin making premium wooden pre-tubed blank sets and single-tube options. 

Available Configurations:

  • Double Tube Sets: Pre-tubed double tube sets for Jr Series - (12.5mm & 10.5mm Tubes),  Full Gent Series - (37/64" & 15/32" Tubes), Navigator/Tycoon/Sedona Series - (25/64" & 15/32" Tubes), or Cigar Series - (both 10mm Tubes) ready to turn pen blank sets.
  • Single Tube blanks: Pre-tubed single-tube Sierra Clone Series (27/64" Tubes) or Bolt Action Series (3/8" Tubes) ready to turn pen blanks.
  • Custom Sized: Pre-tubed single-tube blanks or double tube sets. Please specify tube size and kits used in the notes block at check out.

Craftsmanship:

Blanks are assembled with stabilized wood thins wrapped around and secured to the brass tube. These tubes are then cast in resin to ensure a smooth turning experience. All wood material is stabilized for enhanced durability and finish quality. Please allow up to two weeks for these pre-tubed orders; limited inventory is available.

Turning Experience:

These blanks turn smoothly, yielding a rich, natural wood finish that highlights the unique grain and the elegant wooden accent band. The special 250th Anniversary Jr Cap adds a bold patriotic statement to your finished pens.

Certificate of Authenticity:

Each Set includes a professionally designed Certificate of Authenticity printed on premium card stock, celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the United States, and a provenance history card.

Transform your blanks into showstoppers with these pro-level insights. Our upgraded V2 blanks boast finer shredded plastic for ultra-smooth turning and minimal chip-out. Dial in sharp carbide or HSS tools, crank speeds to 2,000–3,000 RPM, and take feather-light cuts (0.005–0.015 inches). Wet-sand from 220 to 2,000 grit, zap pin-holes with thin CA glue, and finish with Magic Juice polish for a mirror finish.
