It accepts CA glue finishes, friction polishes, and traditional oils or waxes without issue. For best results, apply thin coats of Craft Coat to achieve a glass-like surface. Sharp tools and moderate speeds prevent burning on this responsive hardwood. The wood’s fine texture responds well to sanding through progressive grits, yielding a smooth foundation for any finish.
