The Bell UH-1 Iroquois "Huey" is a utility military helicopter designed and produced by the American aerospace company Bell Helicopter. It is the first member of the prolific Huey family, as well as the first turbine-powered helicopter in service with the United States military.

Development of the Iroquois started in the early 1950s, a major impetus being a requirement issued by the United States Army for a new medical evacuation and utility helicopter. An initial production contract for 100 HU-1As was issued in March 1960. In response to criticisms over the rotorcraft's power, Bell quickly developed multiple models furnished with more powerful engine.

The Iroquois was first used in combat operations during the Vietnam War, the first examples being deployed in March 1962. It was used for various purposes, including conducting general support, air assault, cargo transport, aeromedical evacuation, search and rescue, electronic warfare, and ground attack missions. Armed Iroquois gunships carried a variety of weapons, including rockets, grenade launchers, and machine guns, and were often modified in the field to suit specific operations. The United States Air Force deployed its Iroquois to Vietnam, using them to conduct reconnaissance operations, psychological warfare, and other support roles.

The Iroquois was originally designated HU-1, hence the Huey nickname, which has remained in common use, despite the official redesignation to UH-1 in 1962.

Bell Helicopters was the winner of a 1963 United States Air Force competition for a support helicopter for use on its missile bases. The resulting UH-1F had the shorter cabin of the "Bravo" Huey, but with a longer tail boom, rotor and transmission. The iconic aircraft of the Vietnam War with the distinctive "wop-wop" of the Huey's rotor blades stirs the memories of the generation that came of age during the turbulent 1960s.

The UH-1F was introduced into the USAF inventory in February 1964. The USAF took delivery of 119 Huey with production ending in 1967. Many of the aircraft served in southeast Asia with the 20th Special Operations Squadron and some were converted to the armed UH-1P configuration.

These blanks are made with game used jersey relics from Johnny Bench of the Cincinnati Reds  and paired with wood  from a Crosley Field stadium seat.

Johnny Bench, born December 7, 1947, in Oklahoma City, is widely regarded as one of baseball's greatest catchers. Playing his entire 17-year MLB career with the Cincinnati Reds (1967–1983), Bench revolutionized the catcher position with his defensive prowess, powerful arm, and offensive contributions. A key figure in the "Big Red Machine," he helped lead the Reds to two World Series titles (1975, 1976). Bench earned 14 All-Star selections, 10 Gold Glove Awards, and two National League MVP awards (1970, 1972). His career stats include a .267 batting average, 389 home runs, and 1,376 RBIs. Bench's ability to handle pitchers and throw out base stealers set new standards for catchers. In 1968, he won Rookie of the Year. Off the field, Bench has been a broadcaster, author, and philanthropist. Elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1989, his No. 5 jersey is retired by the Reds. Bench’s legacy endures as a benchmark for excellence in baseball.

Benjamin Franklin Birthplace

Benjamin Franklin was born on January 17, 1706 in Boston, MA, in what was known as the Massachusetts Bay Colony. He was born in a small house at 17 Milk Street, across the street from the Old Meeting House. Franklin was born in this house and lived there for six years with his father Josiah, mother Abiah, and his 16 siblings. Benjamin was the 15th child and youngest son.

Franklin stated that he was born  at the corner of Hanover and Union Street in Boston, but  according to the Bostonian Society he was mistaken. Records show that Josiah Franklin was a tenant at 17 Milk Street from 1685 to 1712, where Benjamin was born in 1706. The family later moved to Hanover and Union Street, where his father's soap and candle shop was located. Benjamin lived there with his family until the age of 17, when he decided to leave for Philadelphia.

The current building that stands on 17 Milk Street is not the original where Franklin was born. The original building was destroyed by a fire in 1811, making room for the building that stands there today. There is a bust of Franklin commemorating his birthplace on the second floor facade of the building. The inscription on the wall reads “Birthplace of Franklinâ".

Hardin Penworks, LLC, certifies that material supplied to the artisan of the accompanying hand-crafted item was sourced from a 1995-1998 game used hockey stick from Todd Bertuzzi of the New York Islanders. 

Todd Bertuzzi (born February 2, 1975) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey winger of the National Hockey League (NHL). Known as a power forward, he has played in the NHL for the New York Islanders, Vancouver Canucks, Florida Panthers, Anaheim Ducks, Calgary Flames and Detroit Red Wings.

Selected 23rd overall by the New York Islanders in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft, he played at the junior level with the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) for four seasons. In 1995–96, he played his rookie season with the Islanders. After two-and-a-half seasons with the Islanders, he was traded to the Vancouver Canucks. Bertuzzi enjoyed the most successful seasons of his career with the Canucks—his longest tenured team in the NHL—including NHL First Team All-Star honours in 2003. During the 2003–04 season, he was suspended for the Todd Bertuzzi–Steve Moore incident. In 2006, after seven-and-a-half seasons with Vancouver, Bertuzzi was dealt to the Florida Panthers, with whom he briefly played for until being traded again to the Red Wings. He then played single seasons with the Anaheim Ducks and the Calgary Flames before returning to Detroit in 2009 and finishing his career there. Internationally, Bertuzzi has competed for Team Canada at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, as well as the 1998 and 2000 World Championships. He is the uncle of Tyler Bertuzzi who currently plays for the Detroit Red Wings.

JB Royal BLACK TITANIUM dark silver resin blanks with suspended shredded resin cut-offs from the over-pour of other Alumilite and JB Royal resin blocks. The suspended material is a wild variety of mixes to form a kaleidoscope of colors.

You may find this to be opaque. We recommend back painting the blank after drilling. Using different colors for back painting will yield wildly different effects and results.

As with any suspended material blanks, there is the likely hood of tiny bubbles. These bubbles can easily be remedied with CA (cyanoacrylate) glue.

Bureau Number 161973 History: Delivered in 1984, BuNo 161973 served as Blue Angels #1, piloted by Commander Pat Moneymaker (1990) and Captain Greg Wooldridge (1991-1992), and #5 under Ken Switzer (1993). It survived a 1990 midair collision, completed a historic 1992 European tour, including a Moscow performance with the Russian Knights, and was retired in 1994.

Ocean City is an Atlantic resort town in Maryland along the East Coast of the United States. The population was 6,844 at the 2020 U.S. census, but during summer weekends the city hosts up to 345,000 vacationers and up to eight million visitors annually. During the summer, Ocean City becomes the second most populated municipality in Maryland, after Baltimore.

The Ocean City Boardwalk currently runs from South 2nd Street at the Ocean City Inlet in South Ocean City, up to 27th Street in South Ocean City. The boardwalk is home to food, shops, arcades, and amusements.

Originally called the "Atlantic Avenue", the first Ocean City boardwalk was constructed in 1902. After being damaged by a storm in 1962, the boardwalk was rebuilt to stretch a total of 2.25 miles, which is still its length today. Many years later the boardwalk would suffer extensive storm damage during Hurricane Gloria in 1985 which pummeled Ocean City with 89 mph winds. The boardwalk was refurbished, and a concrete sea wall was soon constructed following the storm to prevent further damage. The aftermath of Hurricane Gloria led to the first phase of extensive beach replenishment projects in Ocean City.

The Ocean City Boardwalk was damaged again in 2012 as a result of Hurricane Sandy. The boardwalk was flooded and half of it was destroyed as a result of the water coming so far onto shore. The boardwalk has since been rebuilt back to its original length and still attracts many tourists and families.

The Boeing B-29 Superfortress, commonly known as the Superfortress, is a cornerstone of U.S. Army Air Forces strategic bombing capabilities. Introduced in 1944, this subsonic, four-engine propeller-driven heavy bomber was designed for high-altitude long-range missions, enabling it to deliver massive payloads while evading enemy defenses. Powered by four Wright R-3350 Duplex-Cyclone radial engines, each producing 2,200 horsepower, the B-29 can carry up to 20,000 pounds of bombs. Its range exceeds 3,250 nautical miles, extendable with aerial refueling in later variants, making it a pivotal platform for Pacific theater operations.

The B-29’s effectiveness is achieved through its pressurized cabin, remote-controlled defensive turrets, and advanced Norden bombsight, allowing for precise high-altitude bombing and crew safety. A notable component is the aluminum skin, which provides essential lightweight construction and structural integrity. For instance, a section of aluminum skin from such an aircraft, salvaged after decommissioning and use as a ground target for weapons testing, highlights the material’s critical role in enduring combat and environmental stresses. This skin was later repurposed, reflecting ongoing preservation efforts for historical aircraft parts.

With 3,970 units built, the B-29 remains one of the most advanced bombers of its era. Operated by groups such as the 9th Bomb Group from bases in Guam and Tinian, it has seen combat in World War II, including firebombing campaigns over Japan and the atomic missions, delivering devastating strategic strikes.
