The Boeing B-52 Stratofortress, an iconic long-range strategic bomber, has served the U.S. Air Force since 1952 and remains operational today. Nicknamed “BUFF” (Big Ugly Fat Fella), the B-52 is powered by eight Pratt & Whitney J57-P-1WA turbojet engines, each producing 11,400 pounds of thrust, achieving a maximum speed of 630 mph and a range of 8,800 miles. Its 185-foot wingspan and ability to carry 70,000 pounds of weapons, including nuclear and conventional ordnance, made it a Cold War cornerstone. The B-52 saw action in Vietnam, Desert Storm, and Afghanistan, adapting to evolving threats with upgraded avionics and precision-guided munitions.

These pen blanks are crafted from the authentic fuselage of B-52B Stratofortress, tail number 53-0394, known as Lucky Lady III, preserving its historic legacy. Perfect for collectors, veterans, or aviation enthusiasts, they transform this legendary aircraft into a unique writing instrument.

Tail Number 53-0394 History: Delivered in 1955, 53-0394, named Lucky Lady III, led Operation Power Flite in January 1957, becoming the first jet to circle the globe nonstop in 45 hours, 19 minutes, covering 24,325 miles with in-flight refueling. Commanded by Lt. Col. James H. Morris, it earned the 1957 Mackay Trophy and a Life magazine cover. Later renamed “City of El Paso,” it was retired to the National Museum of the United States Air Force and preserved by Walter Soplata in 1984.

Powered by two Lycoming T55 turboshaft engines, the CH-47 Chinook can reach speeds of up to 196 mph, making it one of the fastest helicopters in its class. It has a range of about 400 miles and can carry up to 55 troops or 10 tons of cargo, including vehicles, artillery, and supplies. The Chinook is equipped with a rear loading ramp and can perform aerial deliveries and recoveries, adding to its operational flexibility.

The CH-47 has seen extensive service in numerous conflicts, including the Vietnam War, where it was vital for troop movements, resupply missions, and medical evacuations. It has continued to serve in modern conflicts such as those in Iraq and Afghanistan, where its ability to operate in challenging environments has been invaluable. With continuous upgrades, the Chinook remains a crucial asset to the U.S. and allied militaries, symbolizing reliability and adaptability in a wide range of missions.

The Boeing Vertol CH-46 Sea Knight is an American medium-lift tandem-rotor transport helicopter powered by twin turboshaft engines. It was designed by Vertol and manufactured by Boeing Vertol following Vertol's acquisition by Boeing.  

Development of the Sea Knight, which was originally designated by the firm as the Vertol Model 107, commenced during 1956. It was envisioned as a successor to the first generation of rotorcraft, such as the H-21 "Flying Banana", that had been powered by piston engines; in its place, the V-107 made use of the emergent turboshaft engine. On 22 April 1958, the V-107 prototype performed its maiden flight. During 1961, the US Marine Corps (USMC), which had been studying its requirements for a medium-lift, twin-turbine cargo/troop assault helicopter, selected Boeing Vertol's Model 107M as the basis from which to manufacture a suitable rotorcraft to meet their needs. Known colloquially as the "Phrog" and formally as the "Sea Knight", it was operated across all US Marine Corps' operational environments between its introduction during the Vietnam War and its frontline retirement during 2014.

Following the Sea Knight's first flight in August 1962, the military designation was changed to CH-46A. During November 1964, the introduction of the Marines' CH-46A and the Navy's UH-46As commenced. The UH-46A variant was a modified version of the rotorcraft to perform the vertical replenishment missions. Two UH-46s could transfer up to 100 tons of cargo per hour between ships, using the Navy's "Vertical Replenishment" technique.

Boston Garden was an arena in Boston, MA. It opened on November 17, 1928, as “Boston Madison Square Garden” and later shortened to “Boston Garden”. Better known as “The Garden”, it hosted home games for the NHL Boston Bruins from 1928 to 1995 and the NBA Boston Celtics from 1946 to 1995. The Garden also hosted ice shows, boxing, wrestling, concerts, circuses, and more.

After more than 50 years in service, the hallowed parquet floor at Boston Garden was retired just before Christmas 1999. The floor had moved with the team from Boston Arena, now Matthews Arena at Northeastern University, to the old Boston Garden to the brand-new FleetCenter.

Boston Garden was an arena in Boston, United States. Designed by boxing promoter Tex Rickard, who also built the third iteration of New York's Madison Square Garden, it opened on November 17, 1928 as "Boston Madison Square Garden" (later shortened to just "Boston Garden") and outlived its original namesake by 30 years. It was above North Station, a train station which was originally a hub for the Boston and Maine Railroad and is now a hub for MBTA Commuter Rail and Amtrak trains.

The Garden hosted home games for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL) and the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA), as well as rock concerts, amateur sports, boxing and professional wrestling matches, circuses, and ice shows. It was also used as an exposition hall for political rallies such as the speech by John F. Kennedy in November 1960. Boston Garden was demolished in 1998, three years after the completion of its new successor arena, TD Garden.

This court was originally part of the RCA Dome in Indianapolis, IN, for the 2000 NCAA Men's Basketball national semifinals and championship games. On this floor, Michigan State University Spartans won the national title on April 3, 2000, with a final score of Michigan State 89, Florida 76. After the 2000 championship, Michigan State University purchased the court. It was refinished and installed in the Breslin Center, where it was the home court of both the men's and the women's basketball teams from 2000 to 2016. Following the 2015-2016 season, the court was replaced.

The Brooklyn Bridge is a hybrid cable-stayed/suspension bridge in New York City, spanning the East River between the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Opened on May 24, 1883, the Brooklyn Bridge was the first fixed crossing across the East River. It was also the longest suspension bridge in the world at the time, with a main span of 1,595.5 feet (486.3 m) and a deck height of 127 ft (38.7 m) above mean high water. The span was originally called the New York and Brooklyn Bridge or the East River Bridge but was officially renamed the Brooklyn Bridge in 1915.

The Brooklyn Bridge has an elevated promenade open to pedestrians and cyclists in the center of the bridge, located 18 feet (5.5 m) above the automobile lanes. The promenade is usually located 4 feet (1.2 m) below the height of the girders, except at the approach ramps leading to each tower's balcony.[28] The path is generally 10 to 17 feet (3.0 to 5.2 m) wide, though this is constrained by obstacles such as protruding cables, benches, and stairways, which create "pinch points" at certain locations. The path narrows to 10 feet (3.0 m) at the locations where the main cables descend to the level of the promenade. Further exacerbating the situation, these "pinch points" are some of the most popular places to take pictures. As a result, in 2016, the NYCDOT revealed plans to double the promenade's width.

A center line was painted to separate cyclists from pedestrians in 1971, creating one of the city's first dedicated bike lanes. Initially, the northern side of the promenade was used by pedestrians and the southern side by cyclists. In 2000, these were swapped, with cyclists taking the northern side and pedestrians taking the southern side.

Pedestrian and bicycle access to the bridge from the Brooklyn side is from either the median of Adams Street at its intersection with Tillary Street or a staircase near Prospect Street between Cadman Plaza East and West. In Manhattan, the pedestrian walkway is accessible from crosswalks at the intersection of the bridge and Centre Street, or through a staircase leading to Park Row.

The Forum is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Inglewood, California, United States, adjacent to Los Angeles. Located between West Manchester Boulevard, across Pincay Drive and Kareem Court, it is north of the under-construction SoFi Stadium and the Hollywood Park Casino. It is about 3 miles (4.8 km) east of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Opening on December 30, 1967, the Forum was an unusual and groundbreaking structure. Architect Charles Luckman's vision was brought to life by engineers Carl Johnson and Svend Nielsen, who were able to engineer the structure so that it had no major support pillars. This had previously been unheard of in an indoor arena the size of the Forum.

Bryant–Denny Stadium is an outdoor stadium in the southeastern United States, on the campus of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. It is the home field of the Alabama Crimson Tide football team of the Southeastern Conference (SEC).

Opened 91 years ago in 1929, it was originally named Denny Stadium in honor of George H. Denny, the school's president from 1912 to 1932. In 1975, the state legislature added longtime head coach and alumnus Paul "Bear" Bryant to the stadium's name. Bryant led the Tide for seven more seasons, through 1982, and is one of the few in Division I to have coached in a venue bearing his name.

With a seating capacity of 101,821, it is the fourth-largest stadium in the Southeastern Conference, the seventh largest stadium in the United States and the ninth largest stadium in the world.

These blanks were part of the framing structure around Gate 22. The wood was removed during the 2020 renovations. As part of a larger, 10-year $600 million plan to upgrade campus athletic facilities, the University is planning $92.5 million in upgrades to the stadium, including new social spaces, improved circulation, additional premium seating and upgraded spaces for athletes and recruits. The Walk of Champions will be extended into a new game day locker room via a new tunnel clad with video boards. The project will be funded with $48.4 million in bonds and $35 million from the Crimson Tide Foundation, the fundraising arm of UA athletics. Construction began shortly after the 2019 season.

New LED lights for the stadium were unveiled on the night of August 12, 2019, including a crimson-hued light display by the new installations.
