Turning & Finishing Notes

Macacauba turns cleanly with sharp tools and responds well to progressive sanding. Its straight to interlocked grain can occasionally produce tear-out, so light cuts and sharp gouges are recommended. The wood accepts finishes beautifully. For enhanced protection and grain pop, apply Craft Coat after final sanding. It pairs nicely with most pen kits and adhesives for hybrid builds.
