Hardin Penworks, LLC, certifies that material supplied to the artisan of the accompanying hand-crafted item was sourced from the original wooden seating of old Wembley Stadium.
The original Wembley Stadium was a stadium in Wembley Park, London, best known for hosting important football matches. It stood on the same site now occupied by its successor.
Wembley hosted the FA Cup final annually, the first in 1923, the League Cup final annually, five European Cup finals, the 1966 World Cup Final, and the final of Euro 96. Brazilian footballer Pelé once said of the stadium: "Wembley is the cathedral of football. It is the capital of football and it is the heart of football", in recognition of its status as the world's best-known football stadium. The stadium also hosted many other sports events, including the 1948 Summer Olympics, rugby league's Challenge Cup final, and the 1992 and 1995 Rugby League World Cup Finals. It was also the venue for numerous music events, including the 1985 Live Aid charity concert.

Wenge Wood Pen Blanks - Premium Exotic African Hardwood
Product Specifications
Blank Sizes: Each pen blank is a minimum of 5" long × 3/4" × 3/4" square.
Material: Genuine Wenge (Millettia laurentii) — a dense, exotic African hardwood.
Material Story
These premium pen blanks are crafted from genuine **Wenge**, one of the world’s most striking exotic hardwoods. Known for its deep chocolate-to-black color with bold, contrasting streaks, Wenge delivers a rich, sophisticated look that turns heads.
Sourced from the tropical forests of Central Africa, this heavy, dense wood is prized by woodturners for its exceptional strength, durability, and unique grain. The coarse, straight grain and open pores create beautiful visual contrast when finished, often resembling high-end ebony while offering its own distinctive character.
Each blank is carefully selected and processed to ensure stability and outstanding turnability. Whether you're making elegant pens, knife handles, or other fine turned projects, Wenge adds a bold, luxurious touch that stands out in any collection.
About Wenge Wood
Wenge is a premium exotic hardwood native to the tropical rainforests of Central Africa, primarily from countries such as Cameroon, Gabon, Congo, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Scientifically known as Millettia laurentii, it comes from large trees that can reach up to 90 feet tall with trunks 3–4 feet in diameter.
Renowned for its incredible density and hardness (Janka rating of 1,930 lbf), Wenge is exceptionally strong, durable, and resistant to rot and termites. Its striking appearance — medium to dark brown heartwood with nearly black streaks — gives it a luxurious, almost ebony-like presence that deepens beautifully with age and finishing.
With a straight grain and coarse, open texture, Wenge is a favorite among woodturners and craftsmen for turned objects, musical instruments, furniture, and high-end flooring. Its combination of visual drama and outstanding mechanical properties makes it one of the most sought-after exotic woods in the world.
Owning a Wenge pen blank means working with a true natural treasure — a bold, elegant hardwood that transforms into stunning finished pieces with timeless appeal.

White House embedded blanks are available from Stadium Pen Blanks in the following tube sizes: Sierra Clones 27/64", Bolt Action 3/8", and Custom Size tubes.
The White House original construction was completed in 1800 with John Adams as its first resident. In 1814, during the War of 1812, the mansion was set ablaze by the British Army in the Burning of Washington, destroying the interior and charring much of the exterior. Reconstruction began almost immediately, and President James Monroe moved into the partially reconstructed Executive Residence in October 1817.
The wood Stadium Pen Blanks has available is original to 1817 and removed during one of three separate renovations.
Theodore Roosevelt Renovation of 1902
In 1902, finding the White House deteriorated and cramped, Theodore Roosevelt embarked on an extensive remodeling of the Residence. Plans had been in the works for years to build a new White House or expand the original, including some quite grand designs. Roosevelt wanted to tread lightly and merely remove the Victorian decor accumulated over the previous thirty years while returning the White House to its Federal-period roots.
Calvin Coolidge Renovation of 1927
In 1927, Calvin Coolidge, tired of the leaky roof, had the attic space expanded into a full third floor by constructing a steel-frame story atop the brick and mortar walls of 1800. The extra space provided more room for the first family and shifted more servants out of the Residence. The president and first lady rented Patterson House, one mile away, for the six months it took to renovate the White House.
Harry Truman Reconstruction of 1950
In 1948, after the Truman Balcony was installed, an engineering survey found the main body of the mansion to be structurally unsound. Floors no longer merely creaked, they swayed. A -thorough examination found wooden beams had been weakened by the cutting and drilling for plumbing and wiring over the past 150 years. The addition of the 1927 steel roof and full third floor added weight the building could no longer handle. Declared to be in imminent danger of collapse, the reconstruction began in 1948.

First Photograph of the White House 1846 The earliest known photograph of the White House was taken in 1846 and is attributed to a Welsh immigrant named John Plumbe, Jr., who was one of the country’s first prominent professional photographers. You can see his daguerreotype above, with its leafless trees and patch of snow capturing a 19th-century January day. According to the White House Historical Association, the “cast of the shadows indicates that the photograph was taken in early morning light.”

Hardin Penworks, LLC, certifies that material supplied to the artisan of the accompanying hand-crafted item was sourced from the plastic seats of Williams–Brice Stadium. Home stadium for the South Carolina Gamecocks football team from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC, Williams–Brice Stadium is currently the 16th largest on-campus college football stadium in the NCAA.
The stadium is often called "Willy B" by Gamecock fans and local media, and the name has been commonly used by these groups since at least the early 1970s when the university held a fund-raising campaign to raise money for an AstroTurf playing surface, called "The Cockpit".
The stadium was originally built in 1934 with help of federal Works Progress Administration funds as Columbia Municipal Stadium. It was built to replace Melton Field, an aging wooden structure that was located where USC's Thomas Cooper Library stands today. In 1941, the stadium was deeded to USC and renamed Carolina Stadium until 1972 when it was renamed Williams–Brice Stadium.

Founded in 1779, Bowmore Distillery is Islay’s first licensed distillery and Scotland’s second-oldest, located on the shores of Loch Indaal. It produces around 2 million liters of single malt Scotch whisky annually, known for its balanced peat smoke, fruity, and maritime flavors. Bowmore preserves traditional methods, malting 25% of its barley on-site using heritage malting floors and peat-fired kilns, which contribute to its signature smoky profile. The distillery operates two wash stills (30,940 liters each) and two spirit stills (14,250 liters each), with a 70-hour fermentation process that enhances tropical, fruity notes. Its No. 1 Vaults, the world’s oldest Scotch maturation warehouse, sits below sea level, imparting a unique saltiness from the Atlantic Ocean’s influence.
Since its acquisition by Suntory Global Spirits in 1994, Bowmore has blended tradition with innovation, notably through collaborations like the Aston Martin ARC-52, a collectible release. The distillery supports the local community by using waste heat to warm a nearby swimming pool. Its core range, including 12, 15, 18, and 25-year-old expressions, is celebrated for sherry cask maturation, offering complex flavors that appeal to whisky enthusiasts and collectors worldwide.
